Can AI replace humans in Finance?
It is extremely unlikely that AI can ever replace the finance professionals entirely. AI helps with quantitative aspects of finance but not qualitative. AI lacks the human element required in finance for judgement, analysis, interpretation, intuition, and empathy. However, people must partner with AI and stay up to date with the latest technologies and capabilities to automate routine work and focus on quality addition to provide greater value. AI should be used as a tool to free up the time on systematic work and focus on creating the system. Finance professionals powered by AI can deal with any complex analysis and make informed decisions.
